Since the academic year 2023/2024, I have been teaching the course
Applied Social Psychology as adjunct professor at the
University of Milano-Bicocca, within the Bachelor's degree program in Psychological Sciences.
The course explores how
social psychological theories and methods can be applied to
real-world issues beyond the laboratory. Students are introduced to a variety of empirical approaches and ethical considerations involved in
applied research across different domains, such as
conspiracy beliefs,
sustainable eating, and
dehumanization.
Through case studies and interactive discussions, the course encourages students to critically reflect on how psychological research can contribute to understanding and addressing contemporary societal challenges in the fields of health, the environment, and politics.
