Group Psychology

University of Trento

During the academic years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024, I taught the course Group Psychology as a teaching fellow at the University of Trento, within the Bachelor's degree program in Professional Education.

The course aimed to provide students with a thorough understanding of the psychological processes within and between groups, emphasizing topics such as group formation, roles, and social influence, with a specific focus on working groups. It explored key aspects of group dynamics, including conflict resolution, leadership, decision-making, as well as the causes and consequences of prejudice and social exclusion.

Through group activities and the analysis of films, the course encouraged students to critically reflect on how psychological theories can be applied to understanding group dynamics and their real-world implications, enhancing their ability to analyze and interpret social behaviors in various contexts.

Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal call to action by the United Nations to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure peace and prosperity for all by 2030. These interconnected goals provide a shared framework for addressing the world's most urgent social, economic, and environmental challenges.

This course contributes to several key SDGs by exploring how social psychology can help promote good health and well-being, gender equality, reduced inequalities, and peace, justice and strong institutions
