During the academic years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024, I taught the course
Group Psychology as a teaching fellow at the
University of Trento, within the Bachelor's degree program in Professional Education.
The course aimed to provide students with a thorough understanding of the
psychological processes within and between groups, emphasizing topics such as group formation, roles, and social influence, with a specific focus on
working groups. It explored key aspects of group dynamics, including conflict resolution, leadership, decision-making, as well as the causes and consequences of prejudice and social exclusion.
Through
group activities and the
analysis of films, the course encouraged students to critically reflect on how psychological theories can be applied to understanding group dynamics and their real-world implications, enhancing their ability to analyze and interpret social behaviors in various contexts.
