Psychology of Relationships in School Contexts

In 2024, I served as tutor for the course Psychology of Relationships in School Contexts, offered within the Teacher Training Program (60 ECTS Credits) at the University of Milano-Bicocca.

The course, delivered entirely online, introduced pre-service teachers to key psychosocial theories and processes relevant to the school setting, with a focus on adolescent group dynamics and the impact of social categorization and stereotyping. Topics included social identity theory, the significance of group belonging during adolescence, and the pervasive influence of intergroup biases in interpersonal behavior.

As tutor, my role involved providing content-related assistance to participants via online chat, answering questions, and identifying discussion points to raise with the instructor, thus facilitating deeper engagement with the course material.

Psychology of Social Processes

In the academic year 2020/2021, I served as tutor for the course Psychology of Social Processes, part of the Master's degree program in Social, Economic and Decision Psychology at the University of Milano-Bicocca.

Delivered online due to the COVID-19 lockdown, the course provided students with theoretical and methodological tools to understand group processes. It covered intragroup and intergroup dynamics, addressing topics such as status, power, identity formation, intergroup conflict, and the maintenance of inequality.

In my tutoring role, I managed the course materials by uploading slides and video lectures to the Moodle platform, maintained the course page regularly, and prepared online written exams under the supervision of the course instructor. Additionally, I provided assistance to students during online exams to ensure smooth administration.

Social Psychology

In the academic year 2020/2021, I served as tutor for the course Social Psychology within the Bachelor's degree program in Sociology at the University of Trento.

The course, delivered entirely online due to the COVID-19 lockdown, offered an introduction to key topics in social psychology, including social cognition, attribution processes, the self, attitudes and persuasion, social influence, group dynamics, prejudice, discrimination, aggression, and prosocial behavior. Specific attention was also given to masculinity ideologies, sexism, and dehumanization.

In addition to supporting the organization of group discussions and student participation in online research activities, I assisted students in developing a group project that formed part of the final exam. Although my primary role was that of tutor, I also delivered selected lectures on topics such as social influence, attitudes, dehumanization, sexism, and stereotypes.
